A building of Civil Services Institute (CSI) is being  constructed with the budget of Rs. 14.88 crore at Rajpur-Mussoorie Bypass in  Dehradun. The premises spread in 9 hectare land will include main building,  multipurpose hall, cottage, swimming pool and tennis court in 1.5 hectare area.
Chief Secretary Alok Kumar Jain while reviewing the  construction progress of CSI building at Secretariat on Thursday said that the  construction ought to be an eco-friendly. He said that a Green Belt also be  developed and the building replicated architecture of mountain region so that  the visitors could understand the genre. He said that it might be ensured that  the building could be used commercially besides the activities of CSI so that  with the revenue generated from the commercial activities, the CSI could be  run. 
The meeting was attended by Secretary Urban  Development Umakant Panwar, Additional Secretary Finance MC Joshi, Additional  Secretary PWD Amit Negi, Director Sports UC Kabarwal, Additional Secretary  Sport Ajay Pradhyot, District Magistrate Ravinath Raman and other senior  officials.
