Narendra Singh Tomar Takes Over as New Union Minister of Labour and Employment

Shri Narendra Singh Tomar has taken over as new Union Minister of Labour and Employment here in Shram Shakti Bhawan New Delhi today. Shri Tomar is a Lok Sabha member (BJP) from Gwalior Constituency of Madhya Pradesh. 

Speaking on the occasion Shri Tomar said he will soon have a meeting with Senior Officers in the ministry to chalk out the 100 day road map for action as stipulated by the Prime Minister. He said emphasis will be on imparting skill development with avenues of Employment.

The 16th Lok Sabha elections would be held in the lone Parliamentary Constituency of Mizoram on April 9, 2014. Polling will be held at 1,125 polling stations spread across 1,032 polling station locations. Out of the state’s total of 6,96,448 electors as on  20th  March 2014, 34.68% are in the age group 18–25 while women constitute 50.7%. The poll expenditure limit per candidate in the state is Rs.70 lakhs.
